Atlantic Health System is seeking a Progressive Mobility Technician for the Pulmonary at Morristown Medical Center to work from 7AM to 3PM, including every other weekend.


  • Assists patient with activities of daily living.
  • Turns and positions patients per policy or as directed and transfers patient to and from bed/chair/stretcher.

  • Assists patients with ambulation utilizing the appropriate assessing device and providing the appropriate amount of assistance. 

  • Adheres to hospital policies and procedures in regards to care.

  • Observes and maintains isolation precautions.
  • Documentation/Report. Records patient contact timely and accurately. Documents ADLs and other pertinent information in a timely manner. Complete verbal and written reports by end of shift.

  • Provides and maintains safety and comfort measure for patient.
  • Performs non-patient, unit/department specific duties. Maintains neat and clean environment.
  • Training/Staffing. Participates in the orientation of new employees by assisting in role responsibilities, unit routine of patient care, documentation and equipment utilization. Assist new employees during their shifts. Provide coverage for the department as needed.




Minimum Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required


  • BLS preferred
  • Certified Nursing Asssitant preferred

Relevant Experience: 

  • 0-2 years' experience
