Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a full time Nursing Assistant for the Ambulatory Surgery Center Department at Morristown Medical Center working 11-7pm shift primarily.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
  • Assisting patients with daily activities
  • Measuring and recording vital signs
  • Administering basic treatments
  • Helping to ensure a safe care environment
  • Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
  • Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

Minimum Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

Certifications: 

  • BLS required
  • CNA preferred

Relevant Experience:

  • 3-4 years nursing assistant experience in a fast paced environment
  • Must be self-directed and highly motivated
