Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Patient Financial Service Representative in Morris Plains, NJ to work from 8AM to 4PM Mon. 

Responsibilities

  • Claims corrections in electronic billing system, host ISS system and payer system. Resubmission of claims when appropriate. Consistent follow up to determine claim status. Reconciliation of account balance upon receipt of remittance or other follow up activities.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Knowledge of hospital billing preferred
  • Candidate must have excellent communication skills and articulate in a clear and concise manner
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel and other Various Microsoft applications
  • Must maintain high quality standards (timely and accurate processing of information) and positive employee relations

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Education:

  • College Degree preferred

Relevant Experience:

  • 1 year of previous experience is a plus
