Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Assistant Nurse Manager to work in the Emergency Department at Newton Medical Center. FT Nights, every other weekend.


Essential Job Functions:

  • The ANM is responsible for all operations in the ED during their shift. These duties include but are not limited to: Creating the patient assignments, conducting unit huddles, working with providers to assign and triage patients to appropriate areas, triage, liaison for all other departments and the ED during the shift, ensuring all licensure requirements are met during the shift, enforce policy and procedure are follow and act as the point of contact for operations during their shift. This position will require oversight over quality and operational metrics, representing the unit on hospital committees, conducting staff evaluations and other HR responsibilities.




Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required


  • BSN preferred
  • MSN Preferred


  • Valid New Jersey Nursing License required
  • BLS required
  • ACLS required
  • PALS preferred

Relevant Experience:

  • 2 years charge nurse experience
