Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-Time Lead Special Procedures Technologist for the Radiology Special Procedures Department at Morristown Medical Center. The Hours will be 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, there will be on call with this position.

Responsibilities

  • Highly motivated candidate demonstrates the ability to support imaging procedural flow collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team in timely and efficient manner.
  • Supervises technologists daily duties ensuring a team approach with extraordinary quality patient interactions during the continuum of care.
  • Inventory management to ensure appropriate par level are maintain and communicated to designee.
  • Effectively communicates, maintains, and records quality measures for equipment maintenance.
  • Mentor and precepts new team members through competency based performance as per AHS educational standards.
  • Proficient in documentation electronic health medical record, Sectra, and API healthcare.
  • Performs high level of sterile technique and maintains infection prevention standards. Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with all customers, exhibits and promotes AHS PRIDE VALUES and adheres to all policies and procedures of AHS.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication skills

Minimum Education:

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiography Program

License/Certifications:

  • RT & ARRT Licensure required
  • CPR required

Relevant Experience:

  • 3+ years of IR & Scrubbing procedures experience
