Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist for Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Morristown Medical Center to work primarily 9AM-9:30PM hours, 2-3 times per week including on-call and weekends as required by department.

Essential Functions:

• Previous Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Candidate will assist physician(s) with CATH/PCI, Peripheral, Impella, Structural Heart, (CoreValve, SAPIEN, MitraClip, Watchman, Valvuloplasty, PFO, ASD) and ICD cases.
• Administers post recovery care of patients including, arterial and venous sheath removal.
• Must be able to assess for and manage arterial site complications.
• Adheres to On-call policy requirements and responds appropriate to emergency calls per unit policy.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Education:

• Graduate of an Accredited CVT School

License/Certifications:

• RCIS certification or within one-year of hire
• ACLS required
• BLS required

Relevant Experience:

• 1-2 years previous RCIS/CVT experience preferred
