Atlantic Health System is seeking per diem Registered Nurses for the Maternity Unit at Chilton Medical Center. 


Essential Job Functions:

  • Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
  • Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
  • Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.



  • Candidate must be able to work well with a team, and able to function in a fast paced environment

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required


  • BSN preferred


  • Valid New Jersey Nursing License required
  • BLS required
  • NRP required
  • ACLS required
  • Inpatient OB certification preferred

Relevant Experience:

  • 1-2 years Maternity experience in an acute care environment
  • Able to care for mom and baby couplets during the post partum period
  • Able to care for infants in a level 2/ NICU environment
  • Experience in labor and delivery is a plus
