Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Data Analyst with knowledge in medical terminology, at Morristown Medical Center, in their amazing Department of Orthopedics,  


 
 

Responsibilities

  • Manage acquisition and entry of collected data into secure database
  • Collate and compile collected data
  • Prepare collected data for further analysis by Research Assistant and Statistician
  • Provide administrative support including typing, filing, and other administrative tasks to support data collection and presentation as necessary
  • May be called on to assist in writing and proof-reading of project summaries
  • Gather and enter into database data for quality improvement projects including but not limited to Ongoing professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE), Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO), and Data Registry submission
  • Attend appropriate educational programs, meetings and in-services to maintain professional growth and development

Qualifications

Education:

  • Undergraduate degree BS or BA

Requirement:

  • Communication skills and medical terminology
  • Research experience in healthcare or the sciences desirable
  • Computer literacy essential
