Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Medical Office Associate position working at Morristown Medical Center. The hours for the position will be Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon 9am - 5:30pm.  

Responsibilities

Selected candidate will:

  • Manage phones
  • Process patient requisitions
  • Coordinate patient flow
  • Monitor status of patients waiting for completion of procedures
  • Communicate with sections within department and hospital
  • Acts as an assistant to attending physicians/Managers/Assistant Mangers
  • Operate hospital information system (EPIC)
  • Perform other administrative functions associated as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Excellent Interpersonal & communication skills a must
  • Knowledge of patient care & examination procedures relating to imaging is a plus

Minimum Education:

  • High School or equivalent required

Relevant Experience:

  • Coding experience preferred
  • Pre-authorization experience preferred
