Overview

Atlantic Health System is looking for a Per Diem Mammography Technologist to work at the Rockaway Health Pavilion. The hours for the role will vary, but will be day shift. 

Responsibilities

  • Performs mammographic procedures on in/outpatients according to published department protocols.
  • Processes films using automatic film processing system.
  • Analyze each processed radiograph.
  • Maintains a responsive/respectful relationship with patients.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned work area.
  • Communicates efficiently with coordinators, co-workers and vendors.
  • Maintains required annual licensure/CME per MQSA.
  • Completes all yearly OSHA required education and CPR Certification.
  • Performs all aspects of tracking per MQSA.
  • Practices ALARA principal for radiation protection.
  • Accurately and effectively performs QA as per MQSA guidelines.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of an Accredited RT Program Mammography & CPR Certified

Relevant Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience is preferred
