Overview

Atlantic Medical group, part of Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full time  Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for Morristown Family Medicine in Morristown, NJ.

Responsibilities

Essential Function:

  • CMA, Certified Medical Assistant - will have the Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate physician schedule. Selected candidate will perform clinical as well as administrative functions
  • i.e. vital signs, patient intake, all aspects of rooming patients, handle patient messages and communication
  • Administer immunizations to adult and pediatric patient population, exam room and supply maintenance, register and schedule patients in a practice management system

Qualifications

Education:

  • The certified Medical Assistant will have High School Diploma required
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program  

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • MA certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA required
  • Post externship MA experience preferred
  • EPIC EMR experience a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate physician schedule
