Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking an Administrative Assistant in the Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute to work 8-5pm, five days per week. This position is located at Morristown Medical Center.

Responsibilities

  • Answers calls with a smile and excellent phone etiquette
  • Expedites needs of patient to appropriate source
  • Collaborates effectively with all team members and other departments to ensure a smoothly running department with efficient coordination of services
  • Maintains department tidiness
  • Stocking of supplies
  • Manages administration calendars
  • Books rooms for meetings
  • Copying, filing, emailing
  • Creates LMS documents, excel spreadsheets, power point presentations
  • Run EPIC reports and notify AM/manager of deviations
  • Meeting minutes and agendas and organization 
  • Maintenance of employee files and licenses

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • excellent customer Service Skills
  • Preference given to candidates with inpatient hospital experience
