Atlantic Health System is seeking a Director, Hospital Medicine for the Atlantic Medical Group Hospitalist Program.
A Director is jointly responsible with the medical directors for the successful business, financial, strategic operation, and performance of Atlantic Medical Group (AMG) in his/her assigned clinical area(s). In addition, the Director recommends strategies to enhance and/or grow provider services, enhance the patient experience, establishes business plans and monitors the overall performance of provider services.
Works collaboratively with key staff leaders in business development, finance, service line leadership, operations, human resources, special projects as well as practice and support staff. In taking on leadership responsibility for AMG, Directors will continue to work on aligning and integrating provider practices within the clinical area(s) and health system. Directors will need to develop credible relationships of trust with the providers and both hospital and system leadership. The Director will be significantly involved in determining the overall strategy and successful implementation of a business plan that supports improving AMG’s quality, cost and outcomes.
