Overview

The Principal Trainer role is a full-time position with ISS Learning and Development team.  The Principal Trainer is expected to support multiple Epic post-live operations in a training and build capacity.

Responsibilities

The Principal Trainer will interact with operational managers and departmental leads in a training management fashion. The Principal Trainer will design and build innovative curriculum and learning environments, including virtual and eLearning, and/or help manage post live ongoing site-based training efforts to maintain a baseline level of correctness beyond the classroom.  The overarching responsibility is to support Epic users at all stages of their expertise with the application.  The work is accomplished in a team environment and requires excellent problem solving and communication skills with a high level of professionalism. Functions include: Solving highly complex problems and develop solutions to tasks or projects which may be unique, using judgment and initiative.

Qualifications

Education:

  • 4yr degree or equivalent experience

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and change management skills to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships.
  • Minimum 1-year experience with Epic as a Credentialed Trainer; Epic proficiency preferred.
  • Able to obtain Epic Certification within 6 months of hire
