Atlantic Health System is seeking a Part-Time Linen Tech at Morristown Medical Center. Required hours vary, including every other weekend.  


Responsible for retrieval and distribution of soiled and clean linen products. Additional duties as needed. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.


The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

•Ability to deliver and pick up linen in all areas of the hospital.
•Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) effectively.
•Ability to work well under time constraints.
•Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
•Ability to work independently.

Must be able to clean, set-up and break down conference rooms as assigned.

Basic knowledge of infection control procedures and universal precautions.

•Previous experience preferred.



  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent required or will obtain within 2 years of employment.


  • Prior experience in healthcare linen services preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge is helpful.
  • Great customer service/people skills a must.
  • To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Must be able to lift/bend/push/pull 50lbs.
