Atlantic Health System is seeking Full Time Medical Office Associate for Centrastate Surgeons Practice.


8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday

No weekend commitment



Essential Functions:

  • Correctly performs all scheduled and assigned tasks while continually observing patient needs.
  • Participates in preparation and intervention of diagnostic or therapeutic patient care.
  • Provides appropriate interventions as directed by nurse.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Professional and courteous telephone skills
  • Strong data entry skills; clerical, and  ability to type a minimum of 50 wpm Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Physical Demands of Working Conditions: Works in an outpatient clinical environment.
  • Reports and documents patient condition and patient care outcomes to nurse or physician.
  • Pulls and prepares patient records prior to appointments accurately files records.
  • Assists to schedule patients in clinical computer system as needed



  • High school diploma or equivalent


Additional skills: 

  • 1 year medical office experience is preferred
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team.
  • Must have valid drivers license and dependable transportation
