Morristown Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Per Diem Administrative Assistant for the Radiology Urgent Care Unit at Morristown Health Pavilion in Rockaway. 


  • Qualified candidate will manage phones
  • Process patient requisitions
  • Coordinate patient flow
  • Monitor status of patients waiting for completion of procedures
  • Communicate with sections within department
  • Act as an assistant to attending physicians
  • Operate radiology information system (RIS) Hospital information systems
  • Perform other administrative functions.
  • Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families
  • Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job



  •  High School Diploma or equivalent required

Related Experience:

  • Minimum one year experience as Office Assistant/Receptionist (preferably healthcare environment) preferred
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • Computer proficiency preferred
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills a must
