Morristown Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Full Time Medical Office Associate in the Cardiac Cath Lab to work 8:30-4:30pm with no weekends. 


Essential Functions:

  • Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Candidate will be responsible for scheduling cases for MMC and OMC Cath Labs and, EP Lab.
  • Candidate will accurately collect and document time-of-service payments, registration, verify demographics and insurance information.
  • Offers friendly and courteous assistance to every patient to ensure they have a positive, personal experience.
  • Candidate must successfully pass all required training. Includes, but not limited to: electronic medical record training, revenue cycle training and others, as appropriate.
  • Must be able to manage authorizations and referrals.
  • Must be able to manage high-volume of phone calls and work closely with the Charge RN to manage the flow of six-procedure rooms and the holding/recovery area.
  • Must have a flexible schedule.
  • Must be able to multitask and have strong phone etiquette.



  • High School Diploma required, College preferred.


  • 1-2 years prior experience in an office setting, medical practice or medical office, preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge; Microsoft Word, Excel, Applications. Registration/EPIC experience preferred.
