Morristown Medical Center is seeking a per diem Cardiovascular Ultrasound Tech for the Vascular Lab to work 2-3 shifts per week (primarily 7AM-7PM) and weekends and call as required. 

Essential Functions:

• Working as part of a team of Vascular Technologists the selected candidate will perform all comprehensive vascular exams, complete all reports and communicate with physicians and other staff as needed .
• Selected candidate will be competent in upper and lower venous and arterial duplex, PVRs, carotids, upper and lower vein mappings, and abdominal exams (Aorta, Renal, and Mesenteric Artery Duplex).

Education:

• HS Diploma required.
• Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology program preferred.

Experience:

• RVT/RVS or eligible. Must obtain registration within one year of hire date.
• Candidate will be required to work two weekends a month.
• Physical and cognitive requirements: Position`s physical requirements necessitate a full range of body motion including but not limited to, physically assisting patients, requiring stretching, bending, lifting, sitting, kneeling, stooping, standing, walking, pushing and pulling.
• Continuing education required. CPR certification thru the American Heart Association required.
