Atlantic Health System has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Full-time MRI Technologist to work at the Union outpatient facility to interpret MR scanning protocols and perform and provide imaging and treatment processes.  The Technologist will also perform X-Ray and CT scans. This is a day shift position.    


  • The candidate selected for this postition will accurately interpret MR scanning protocols, perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal and professional standards
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of MR imaging equipment; including set-up, utilization, troubleshooting and proper care for all equipment
  • Prior hospital experience on GE equipment and EPIC recommended
  • Abide by strict MR Safety standards
  • Evaluate MR scans for technical quality
  • Utilize Radiology Information System and PACS to maintain schedule and transmit images the Radiologist for interpretation
  • Must be IV competent and competent in preparing and administer contrast material
  • Multimodality experience a must



  • Completion of 24 Month AMA approved Radiologic Technology school


  • Licensed by the State of New Jersey in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in MRI and CT
  • BLS/CPR certification

Relevant Experience

  • Minimum 2 years MRI Experience
  • Prior hospital experience on GE equipment and EPIC preferred
  • IV competent
