Atlantic Health system is seeking Full Time Certified Medical Assistant for the AMG Electrophysiology Physician Associates at Morristown Medical Center.


Essential Functions:

  • Reviews daily appointment schedule with provider and develops a plan for patient care activities
  • Prepares and assesses patients for provider visit
  • Ensures exam rooms are neat, clean and stocked
  • Observes, records and reports patient responses to medical care provided during appointment
  • Prepares, administers and documents medications and vaccinations as ordered by provider and/or standing order policy
  • Assists provider with office procedures and collection of specimens
  • Processes prescriptions per provider instruction 
  • Communicates with insurance carriers to obtain authorizations for procedures and pharmaceuticals
  • Handles patient’s requests for medical information, copies of medical records, refills, and test results, etc. as instructed by the physician




  • High School Diploma required
  • d


  • MA certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA and minimum two (2) years physician practice experience required
  • EMR experience desired
