Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Clinician, Geriatric Assessment Center at Morristown Medical Center.


This position is an integrated clinical position within a geriatric medical practice.
This position will provide counseling to patients/caregivers/families while working with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, social workers, medical assistants and administrative staff. As part of a Collaborative Care model of service, the primary objective is brief focused therapy, working to address specific concerns for patients and family/caregivers. This position will also actively participate in weekly supervision and notify supervising psychiatrist, medical provider, and manager of patient safety concerns, coordinate and run support groups for seniors and family caregivers and manage a support hotline.




Minimum Education/Licensure:

  • Masters level minimum: preferable MSW (Masters in Social Work) or Masters in Counseling

    LSW (Licensed Social Worker) or LAC (Licensed Associate Counselor) required
    LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) preferred


Relevant Experience:

Experience with the geriatric/older adult population strongly recommended
Experience with Epic preferred
