Atlantic Health System is seeking a Manager for our Occupational Medicine Department. This position will provide leadership for and management of Occupational Medicine Services across Atlantic Health System. Ensures high quality, cost effective, accessible services for team members. Plans, organizes, supervises and evaluates the operations of the department. Ensures compliance with regulatory agency standards in an innovative, high quality, team based environment.


  • Manage all day to day operations at all OMS sites including team oversight and supervision, patient flow and workflow, service fulfillment, materials management
  • Manage all staff related processes (hiring, scheduling, performance management, performance evaluation, team member relations)
  • Serves as a liaison for the department with other departments, management, and medical staff as appropriate
  • Ensures timely completion of all documentation and medical records, regulatory adherence and standards of care
  • Completes and manages department metrics and reporting
  • Assists in planning the annual operational, team and capital budgets for the department; operationalize the budget plan to achieve outcomes; assures accuracy of financial records and transactions, and addresses variances to budget
  • Defines operational standards, organizes department level activities to achieve optimum service delivery/systems/care/processes, setting high performance objectives for the department
  • Assess and implement process improvement
  • Holds self and others accountable to meet stated objectives outcomes, goals, timetables and commitments, adhering to standards even in the face of unforeseen circumstances     
  • Creates and manages project plans for multiple, concurrent occupational health projects, i.e. annual influenza vaccine program
  • Works in alignment with other AHS areas to achieve system goals and projects
  • Follows and maintains state and federal regulations regarding employee health and safety
  • Ensures delivery of high standard of care for all OMS services
  • Ensures adherence to organizational mission, vision, values, strategic goals, and business strategies for department
  • Interprets and supports the mission and vision of the system



  • BSN required
  • Masters degree preferred


  • RN NJ state license
  • COHN-D desirable

Relevant Experience:

  • 5 or more years of lead or supervisory experience in a clinical setting, in particular occupational medicine
  • Strong occupational medicine experience, in particular leadership in that field
