The Infrastructure Cloud & Identity Team Lead role is unique in that it requires an individual to understand the constantly changing and fast-paced world of technology and temper that with the methodic need for implementation, project management, and documentation. The position focuses on the Cloud & Identity infrastructure.
The Team Lead will establish a technical vision with the team and will work with them to turn it into reality. The Team Lead focuses on technical matters; he/she will be the subject matter expert in his or her vertical and will work with the various SMEs to funnel the information upward. The Team Lead should be ready to step in on heated technical debates, understand the limitations and challenges of their verticals and work with outside stakeholders (customers/partners) to define technical options and agree on solutions for future streams of work.
While crafting a solution, a Team Lead bears in mind that the solution is engineered in a manner for future handoff to Operations.
The Team Lead is the point of contact for all current and new Cloud & Identity technologies and is expected to understand what effect they would have on the existing production environment. Research is expected on a regular basis, as well as understanding new technologies and how they could benefit Atlantic Health. Atlantic Health uses technology as a competitive advantage and the Team Lead helps to maintain that edge.
Understanding the implementation expectations and providing timelines would be expected. During larger rollouts of dedicated infrastructure, this position would take a lead role in verifying that the technology is implemented correctly and performing as expected.
Security is extremely important at Atlantic Health and as such this position should always be aware of the latest security alerts and ways of mitigating these issues in the infrastructure. This would entail working hand in hand with our information security department.
