Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist for the Pediatric Cardiology department at Morristown Medical Center working hours to be determined 5 days per week between Morristown and Overlook with weekend call as required. (This role will be split between Morristown and Overlook in Summit NJ.)

 

Responsibilities

Essential Job Function:

  • The Pediatric Cardiology Division is currently seeking an experienced Echo Tech to work at our Morristown Campus. Candidate will be performing comprehensive non-invasive cardiac examinations, echocardiograms, EKGs, and placing of holter monitors for infants, children and adolescents. Candidate will work closely with our Pediatric Cardiologists during office hours and conduct echos in outpatient IAC certified lab as well as in the newborn nursery, NICU and pediatric inpatient floor. Candidate will collaborate with referring physician and other members of the health care team.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Education:

  • Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology program preferred

License/Certifications:

  • RDMS or RDCS or RCS Certification Required 

Relevant Experience:

  • Prior experience with pediatric / adult echo ultrasound preferred
