Overview

Atlantic Health System is enabling patient health and access through its newly envisioned mobile application. The Mobile App Product Owner sets the direction for the Atlantic Health System mobile app, bringing the product to life through all stages and touchpoints of the consumer health journey. In this role you will lead the introduction of a newly imagined app and the ongoing implementation of new features and enhancements that will bring to life new ways of managing the healthcare experience. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Digital Products and works with a team of product owners who are charged with bringing the Atlantic Health vision and mission to life in the digital space. As part of the responsibilities, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve business goals and apply best practices for digital experiences while ensuring compliance with the regulations that govern digital marketing for healthcare. This is a hybrid position with the flexibility to work from home a few days each week. 

Responsibilities

  • Strategic product planning for the mobile app that brings together business priorities, goals, quantitative data, user research, technical feasibility, as well as time and budget considerations to create and manage an actional roadmap of product enhancements and app store releases
  • Collaborate with leadership in marketing and technology services to prioritize product features, mapping capabilities to business needs, translating business needs into technical requirements that can be communicated with designers and software engineers alike
  • Create and groom a product backlog to set expectations and keep resources focused on priority-driven assignments
  • Manage the short- and long-term digital platform and product roadmap to set expectations for stakeholders and delivery teams regarding digital product improvement go-to-market releases
  • Identify blockers and adjust plans to keep initiatives on track for on time and on budget delivery
  • Triage issues or service disruptions as they arise
  • Provide clear, concise communication regarding priorities, status, and expected in store availability for key features as well as overall product trends
  • Identify KPIs for the product(s) and work with our Tracking and Reporting resources to understand and communicate product usage, trends, and insights
  • Keep abreast of competitive offerings and provide app comparisons on a regular basis

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirments:

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or Computer Science required

License/Certifications:

  • Project Management, SDLC, or Agile/Scrum experience, certification is a plus

Relevant Experience:

  • 3+ Years managing mobile applications
  • Experience with working with APIs
  • Release management experience with proficiency in launching new products and capabilities
  • Experience with rapid prototyping, user testing, and UAT testing
  • Native and branded app management experience
  • Digital App experience with a healthcare company, experience with Epic preferred
