Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Medical Office Associate in the Radiology Department at Overlook Medical Center. The hours for this position will be between 6:30am and 11:00 pm, 5 days a week. The department needs someone who can work weekends as well as some Holidays. As a Department of the Hospital, coverage is required 365 days a year, regardless of weather, the deparmtent needs candidates who are able to commit to this type of work arraingement.  

Responsibilities

Selected candidates will:

  • Position requires correspondence with Radiologists, Residents, ER Physicians, Technologists, Nursing units and Physician offices
  • Meticulous logging and reporting of STAT/Critical results
  • CD and film duplication
  • General office duties
  • Also requires registering patients, interviewing patients, verify all patient information
  • Assist technologists with moving and positioning
  • Work closely with departmental manager/supervisor
  • Perform other administrative functions associated with department needs
  • Training other team members as needed by the Radiology Department
  • Team member will be responsible to know all departmental areas In the Radiology Department
  • Team member can be moved to satellite AHS locations as needed
  • Shift change is a possibility depending on departmental needs

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Relevant Experience:

  • Epic experience is a plus
  • Hospital experience preferred
  • Computer experience preferred (Knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel)Excellent communications skills and computer skills
