Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-Time Nursing Assistant on Deskovick 3- Spine Unit at Morristown Medical Center to work 11PM-7AM, including every other weekend. 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
• Assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing and feeding
• Measuring and recording vital signs
• Administering basic treatments
• Helping to ensure a safe care environment
• Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
• Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have positive customer service skills

Minimum Education

• High School diploma or GED required

Minimum Experience:

• Previous Unit Rep or Nursing Assistant experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician experience preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• BLS Required
• CNA Preferred

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer satisfaction and communication skills 
• Reliable and dependable 
• Strong interpersonal skills with a strong desire/ability to work in a team environment
• Computer literacy skills
