Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking multiple per diem Crisis Clinicians for Behavioral Health -Ed Services at Newton Medical Center to work varied shifts including on-call and weekends as required by department. 

Responsibilities

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate emergency department-referred behavioral health patients.
  • Conduct risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary, interdepartmental team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Participate in quality initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelors degree in mental health field and experience
  • Masters degree in mental health field and experience

Minimum Experience:

  • 1 year post-masters full time professional experience in a psychiatric setting
  • 3 years post-bachelors full time experience in a psychiatric setting, one of which is in a crisis setting
  • 2 years post-bachelors full time professional experience in a psychiatric setting, one of which is in a crisis setting, and currently enrolled in a masters program

Licenses/Certifications:

  • LPC or LCSW preferred
