Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking Per Diem Respiratory Therapists for AtHome Medical located in Morris Plains, NJ. The position will be working the day shift, 8:30 - 5pm, Monday -Friday. No on call associated with this position, possible Saturday shifts.  

Responsibilities

  • To provide respiratory care to patients as ordered by physician, according to established standards and practices
  • Assess patient health problems and needs
  • Develop and implement care plans
  • Maintain medical records
  • Administer care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients
  • CPAP/VPAP set ups in the patient home or office

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bi-lingual preferred
  • Excellent communication, documentation, customer service, organizational, prioritizing, and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge regarding homecare services and third party reimbursement

Minimum Education:

  • Associate Degree required

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred

License/Certifications:

  • RRT preferred
  • State professional license to provide respiratory care/services to patients in New Jersey
  • NY and PA licenses preferred

Relevant Experience:

  • 1-3 years of acute experience
