Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem MRI Tech for the Radiology Unit at Overlook Medical Center. The shifts vary, including every other weekend and week nights as needed.  The hours are 6:30 am to 11:00 pm and flexibility in the schedule is needed. 

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

 

The candidate selected for this position will:

  • The candidate selected for this position will promote a culture of healing, while accurately interpreting and performing all MRI imaging protocols
  • The candidate will practice in accordance with state, federal and professional standards
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of MR imaging equipment; including set-up, utilization, basic troubleshooting and proper care for all equipment
  • Will abide by strict MR Safety standards and evaluate MR scans for technical quality
  • EPIC and PACS will be used to manage patient workflow and transmit images for interpretation
  • Must be competent with IV skills and preparing/administering contrast media

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

Minimum Education:

  • Completion of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology required

License/Certifications:

  • ARRT Certified in MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • IV Certification preferred 

Relevant Experience:

  • 2 years MRI Experience, Siemens preferred
