Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking multiple per diem Crisis Clinicians for the Crisis Intervention Department at Chilton Medical Center to work varied schedules including varied weekends.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate emergency department-referred patients with psychiatric emergencies.
  • Conduct and administer risk assessments and other scales.
  • Function in an interdepartmental interdisciplinary team.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation in an electronic health record.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Masters degree in social work, psychology or related fields

Minimum Experience:

  • Two years experience in behavioral health, with strong preference for experience in hospital, health-care and especially emergency department setting.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • License to practice independently-LCSW, LPC or psychologist-or in process of licensure, strongly preferred.
