Atlantic Health System is currently seeking a per diem Medical Laboratory Scientist I for Hackettstown Medical Center in the Core Lab to work varied shifts, including weekends as required by the department. 

• Perform testing in the laboratory and report results according to SOP.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment.
• Perform quality control tasks and maintain laboratory documentation according to SOP.
• Maintain and manage laboratory inventory.
• Provide laboratory information to others on the patient care team.
• Maintain competencies and continuing education.

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institution
• Foreign graduates require equivalency evaluation documentation

License/Certifications:

• ASCP or equivalent certification preferred

Relevant Experience:

• Previous Med Lab Scientist experience highly preferred
