Responsibilities

  • Work within the Center for Rheumatic Disease & Infusion
  • Receive trainning in all aspects of office procedures and protocols 
  • Develop strong traige abilites while checking patients in and out
  • Assisting with administrative duties such as documentation of telephone messages, insurance verification, scheduling 
  • Interact with patients, staff and team members 
  • MOA intern would learn the physician’s schedules and an overview of working in a medical office.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
  • Be in good academic standing
  • Interested in Registered Nurse as a future role
  • Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Team-oriented
  • Telephone etiquette skills
  • US Citizen or permanent resident
