Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care unit at the Goryeb Children's Hospital which is located on the campus of Morristown Medical Center.

Goryeb Children's Hospital is a state-designated “Children’s Hospital” – an earned recognition from New Jersey and the national Children’s Hospital Association. We have more than 250 community pediatricians on staff and more than 100 board-certified pediatric specialists.

Essential Job Functions:

• Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
• Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
• Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
• Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• BSN required

 License/Certifications:

• Valid New Jersey Nursing License
• BLS required
• PALS required
• Pediatric Certification or CCRN preferred

Relevant Experience:

• 1-2 years of relevant PICU, ICU or SDU experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting
