Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Medical Lab Scientist I in the Lab- Transfusion Services at Overlook Medical Center to work from 3pm - 11pm or 11pm - 7am Monday - Friday and weekends as needed.

• Perform Laboratory testing in the Blood Bank and report results according to the SOPs
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot analyzers and equipment
• Perform quality control, calibrations and correlations
• Maintain supply inventory
• Provide Laboratory information to others on the patient care team

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology highly preferred

License/Certifications:

• ASCP Certification preferred or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification highly preferred

Relevant Experience:

• Blood Bank experience preferred
