Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full time Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the Radiology Department at Morristown Medical Center. There is On-Call with the role and weekends as needed.  

Responsibilities

  • Prepares patient for examination
  • Radiopharmaceutical preparation
  • Monitors patients physical condition throughout procedure
  • Monitors equipment operation and scanning set-up
  • Demonstrates the ability to support imaging procedural flow collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team in a timely and efficient manner
  • Effectively communicates, maintains, and records quality measures for equipment maintenance
  • Proficient in documentation in the electronic health medical records, Sectra and API Healthcare
  • Performs high level of sterile technique and maintains infection prevention standards
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with all customers, exhibits and promotes AHS PRIDE VALUES and adheres to all policies and procedures of AHS

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

Minimum Education:

  • BS in Nuclear Medicine or a Graduate of an approved RT and Nuclear Medicine Program

License/Certifications:

  • NJ State License (DEP) required
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine required
  • CPR required

Relevant Experience:

  • 1+ year of Nuclear Medicine experience strongly preferred
