Morristown Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System,is seeking a Part-Time Nutritionist for the Ped Hematology/Oncology Unit working primarily 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM; including weekends.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Perform nutrition assessments and develop nutrition plans,(using Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Nutrition Care Process) for children with hematological and ontological diagnosis
  • Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team participating in daily rounds to implement care plans that are patient and disease specific for all patients treated in the Valerie Center
  • Provide evidenced based medical nutrition therapy including enternal and paternal nutrition.
  • Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job. 



  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition is required.


Related Experience:

  • Must be a registered Dietitian/Nutritionist in accordance with the CDR. 
  • Certified Specialist in Pediatrics (CSP) and or Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) is preferred.
  • High level of customer service, attentiveness, and consideration to patient care. 
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Pediatrics is required.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
