Overview

Chilton Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for the Cardio Administration.  

Responsibilities

Essential Job Function:

  • Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served
  • Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families
  • Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirments:

  • Must be able to work in a fast-pace environment with strong attention to detail
  • Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills

Education:

  • BSN Preferred

License/Certifications:

  • Valid New Jersey Nursing License required
  • BLS required
  • ACLS required
  • RCIS certification preferred 

Relevant Experience:

  • 3-4 years acute care and cardiac/critical care experience preferred. Cath Lab experience is highly preferred
  • Candidate will assist physician(s) with Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac procedures, Interventional Radiology procedures, Diagnostic and Interventional Vascular procedures and Pacemaker procedures
  • Administers pre and post care of patients including admission and discharge of patients
  • Adheres to On-call policy requirements and responds appropriately to emergency calls per unit policy
