Overview

Atlantic Health System is currently seeking a Full-Time Account Manager working out of Morristown NJ.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

The Account Manager position is responsible for the day-to-day tasks relating to customer service and the execution of account management objectives. This dual reporting position and will report into the Worker’s Compensation Business Development Manager and Employer-based Services Manager of Atlantic Corporate Health, Atlantic Health System. General responsibilities include internal project work that supports the OHP/WC sales strategy as well as relationship management, account operations, and growth of Corporate Health client account activities. The Account Manager is a high-visibility position that will interact with a broad array of NJ employers, hospital departments, medical-staff, brokers, partners, and management.

Manage corporate client relationships and provide exemplary customer service:

  • Assist team in customer outreach
  • Communicate with corporate client contact/decision maker to discuss client employer-based health and wellness needs
  • Develop a professional and personal relationship that engenders trust and respect client leadership
  • Develop relationships with supervising physicians and other local health care providers or partners, as needed
  • Identify service issues, troubleshoot, and resolve and communicate information to appropriate stakeholders to facilitate issue resolution and promote customer satisfaction
  • Promote company ethics and values
  • Promote positive patient/client experiences throughout the community and region
  • Serve as a client advisor regarding employer-based health and wellness
  • Understand contractual obligations and history of client relationships
  • Work to build a culture of collaboration and accountability within market among and between company associates, client associates, collaborating providers, and local health providers

Manage, monitor and report client and sales activity:

  • Assist in the creation of promotional materials including sending requests to Marketing and managing PO
  • Create detailed reports on campaign status and results
  • Develop project plans, as appropriate
  • Input and track account data using department CRM (Salesforce & ConstantContact)
  • Maintain data tools/spreadsheets/reports related to WC/OHP/E-B clients and provide monthly reporting
  • Maximize cash flow and revenue generation
  • Monitor performance and act to ensure financial targets and objectives are met
  • Provide accurate monthly financial billing and contract rate compliance in such billings
  • Report outcomes at regular staff meetings, 1:1, huddles and department meetings
  • Research potential corporate clients based on department sales strategies

 

Participates in ACH office supportive functions such as:

  • Assist in new program development and quality improvement of existing offerings by communicating the needs of the corporate clients and providing health care administrative work
  • Assist in the marketing/sales of services
  • Participate in staff meetings, operations management and team meetings within ACH and AHS (i.e. Business Development)
  • Perform department projects and other related duties as assigned (i.e. mailings and/or telephonic marketing campaigns)
  • Share information with colleagues, stakeholders, and intra-AHS service lines regarding specialty projects and communicate insights and updates to management, as appropriate
  • Support department objectives to ensure OH/WC/E-B meets and exceeds established goals

Sell ACH employer-based services and products:

  • Create and send email blasts through marketing software and other solutions as determined by ACH
  • Cultivate new corporate client leads and prospects, ultimately culminating in a sale, with the use of cold calls, former-inactive, past prospect lists and other outreach methods
  • Meet with all clients as per segmented sales strategies and as outlined in annual key performance indicators
  • Participate and manage/lead outreach events (i.e. event booths, speaking engagements, organization memberships, etc.)

Qualifications

Education:

  • Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.

Qualification:

  • Holds a valid driver’s license and has means of transportation
  • Exhibits an ability to sell a suite of products
  • Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships internally and externally
  • Exhibits strong communication skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Possesses competency with Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Possesses skills and knowledge of Salesforce CRM (preferred)
  • Thrives in a fast-based, deadline driven environment and is detail-oriented, exceptionally organized, can manage multiple tasks and projects

Experience:

  • 3 or more years of sale, account management or related experience, preferred
