Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Nurse Educator, Registered Nurse for the Nursing Education Department at Morristown Medical Center primarily working 8:00am - 4:00pm. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served
• Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families
• Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job
• Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills

Education:

• BSN Required
• MSN Required

License/Certification:

• Current New Jersey Registered Nurse License
• BLS Required

Relevant Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Nurse Educator 
• Experience with EPIC required
  
• Experienced master's prepared nurse educator to provide oversight for nursing orientation/onboarding of new staff including RNs, agency and travelers. Experience with research a plus. This position also requires an educator who has presented and/or published locally or nationally on professional development or other nursing topics. Membership and involvement in ANPD a plus.
