Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a full time Registered Nurse for the Neuroscience Department at Overlook Medical Center, primarily working 7pm-730am and including every third weekend.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • OMC Neuroscience units have Joint Commission Designation in Comprehensive Stroke and as a Center of Excellence in Spine surgery.
  • Become part of a team of professionals dedicated to providing specialized care for adults with dysfunction of the central nervous system.
  • The individual must be able to lead a multidisciplinary team.
  • Must have strong time management and multitasking skills.
  • Flexibility strong leadership skills.
  • Experience required in quality initiatives and performance improvement.
  • Experience required staff performance evaluations.
  • Manage staff schedules.
  • Responsible for daily management of unit and direct patient care.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • BSN required

License/Certifications:

  • Valid New Jersey Nursing License required
  • BLS required
  • Certification is a plus

Relevant Experience:

  • 1 year acute care RN experience strongly preferred
