Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Massage Therapist for the Chambers Center for Well Being in Morristown Medical Center to work various shift including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  •  Performs massages according to policy and procedure
  •  Create SOAP notes in MindBody Software after each massage
  •  Has knowledge of other wellness services at the Chambers Center
  •  May examine client and recommend other services and products to complement their chief complaint and goals
  •  Attend all team meetings
  •  Maintain cleanliness and attention to detail in treatment room throughout shift
  •  Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • High School Degree Required 
  • Graduate of an accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation massage therapy program with a minimum of 500 hours of training in massage therapy.

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical setting is a plus

License/Certifications:

  • Nationally Certified or Board Certified Massage and Body work Therapist having completed the National Certification Exam.
  • Additional certifications in 1 or more of the following areas are required: Sports Massage, Oncology Massage, and Lymphatic Massage
