Atlantic Health System is currently seeking a Per Diem Clinical Lab Assistant I for Chilton Medical Center in the Core Lab to work varied shifts including every other weekend. 

• Accession, label, and process laboratory specimens
• Load specimens on lab analyzers and equipment
• Perform patient registration and order lab tests in computer
• Answer phone calls for laboratory information
• Produce lab reports, sort, and deliver
• Pick up lab specimen in various hospital procedure areas
• Process and pack lab specimens for transport

Minimum Education :

• High School Diploma or GED required

Relevant Experience:

• Laboratory, Physician office or clinical experience preferred
• Medical Terminology experience preferred
