Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Certified Medical Assistant to join the Primary Care department in Rockaway, NJ part of Atlantic Medical Group. Monday through Friday dayshift hours, 1 evening shift per week until 7pm and rotating Saturdays. 

Essential Functions:

• The CMA will perform clinical as well as administrative functions i.e. vital signs, patient intake, room patients, and register and schedule patients in a practice management system, complete prior authorizations, provide patient information.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate physician schedule

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Education:

• Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

License/Certifications:

• MA certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA required

Relevant Experience:

• EPIC EMR experience a plus
