Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Radiographer for the Radiology Department at Morristown Medical Center to work 12pm-8pm including, every 4th weekend.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal and professional guidelines.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care of all equipment.
  • Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, procedure, physical and physiological comfort of patient.
  • Monitors need for procedure revisions, coordinates daily imaging procedure, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School

Minimum Experience:

  • 1-3 years of radiology experience is a plus
  • Must exemplify professionalism and compassion while ensuring patient safety and the delivery of quality imaging services
  • Effective communication skills with physicians, coworkers, supervisors, etc. essential

License/Certification:

  • NJ State RT License
  • CPR Certified
