Atlantic Health System is seeking a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Tech for the vascular laboratory department at Overlook Medical Center to work varies shift including weekends as needed.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• OMC Vascular Lab is looking for a PD Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist to perform non-invasive diagnostic studies in accordance with established department protocols based on IAC standards.
• The candidate should possess sonographic skills in testing lower extremity venous, extracranial carotid arteries, physiologic testing (PVR), bypass grafts, dialysis and abdominal scanning
• Knowledge of DICOM workflow inclusive of work list, imaging, exporting, and preliminary reports is strongly preferred.
• Effective communication skills are a prerequisite for this position. 
• This position will be working in a team environment that includes other Cardiovascular Ultrasound Techs, Administrative Staff and Physicians. 

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma Required
• The candidate must be a graduate of a CAAHEP accredited vascular sonography program and possess an ARDMS or CCI credentials.

Minimum Experience:

• Candidates with a minimum of one-years’ experience in the field are preferred however new graduates that possess a strong background will be considered.
