Atlantic Health Sytem is looking for an Registered Nurse to work Per-Diem 8am-4pm at the Cardiac Rehab Department located at MMC. 

Essential Job Functions:

• This is a per diem position 8am-4p, must work every other weekend
• Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
• Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
• Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
• Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.

Education:

• BSN preferred

License:

• Valid New Jersey Nursing License Required

Qualifications/Requirements:

• BLS Required
• Must be arrtyhmia certified
• CCRN Preferred
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of Shared Governance
• Team building skills
• Patient experience

Relevant Experience:

• Experience with caring for cardiac surgery patients
• Telemetry experience
• Able to communicate, educate and disseminate information to patients, staff and family
• Skills that will assist with professional development
