Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a part-time Crisis clinician at Newton Medical Center. The hours for this position will be a varied 12 hour shift and every other weekend. 

Entry level offer starts at $33.00 / hour and increase based upon experience, credentials, education, and roles and responsibilities 

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate emergency department-referred patients with behavioral health and psychiatric emergencies.
  • Conduct screening evaluations.
  • Coordinate with an interdepartmental treatment team.
  • Complete accurate, timely documentation.
  • Provide county screening services.

Qualifications

Mininimum Education:

  • Bachelors degree in mental health field and expereince required

Education:

  • Masters degree in mental health field and expereince preferred

Relevant Experience:

  • 1 year post-masters full time professional experience in a psychiatric setting
  • 3 years post-bachelors full time experience in a psychiatric setting, one of which is in a crisis setting
  • 2 years post-bachelors full time professional experience in a psychiatric setting, one of which is in a crisis setting, and currently enrolled in a masters program
