Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a per-diem Radiation Therapist for the Radiation-Oncology Unit at Morristown Medical Center, to work 8:00am - 4:00pm.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Administers radiation treatments to patients and uses custom fabricated immobilization devices to ensure accuracy of patient treatment.
  • Maintains patient and billing records, performs daily QA of the linear accelerator and provides patient education.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Graduate of an approved Radiation Program

Minimum Experience:

  • 1-3 years experience working as a radiation therapist preferred.
  • Will consider a new graduate.
  • Knowledge of Varian True Beam, Align RT, Aria and Epic preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Must have a current NJ Radiation Therapist License.
  • ARRT certified

Qualifications:

  • Basic computer skills such as Microsoft word and excel
  • Must have excellent communication skills to interact with patients and members of the care team.
